“ Paisley is a great restaurant. My friend and I went and we had very fast service. The flavors are very well done. We appreciated the fast service but perhaps they were a little too on top of filling our waters (there was no one else there but us so they were just hovering over us). Generally, the ambiance is extremely nice and the curry is great. We spent right around $60 per person. Felt like generally it was a good deal for great food. ”
“ Discovered a wonderful a new restaurant on this trip. Nice open space. Great looking bar. Friendly owners/hosts that make you feel welcome. Ordered the Pahadi Murgh and samosa chat for appetizers. Both were good especially the Murgh which came out perfectly tender. Dinner was a Nihari and tikka masala with a side of daal tadka. All dishes were done very well. Definitely a return trip here on the next visit to NYC. ”
“ We came in around 5 pm on a Saturday and had a nice private dining experience. The service was prompt. Ambience of this place is amazing. I really liked the interior decor, lamps and blue Indian style design behind the bar. The food was good, not too heavy or creamy for an Indian restaurant. The spice and flavor profile was perfect in the chana masala. The crispy, chewy, garlicky cauliflower in a tomato sauce was delicious. The samosas were buttery and flakey with well seasoned potatoes. ”
“ Delightful Indian cuisine. The staff was very helpful in making recommendations and answer questions. We started with appetizers Samosas, garlicky cauliflower, crispy eggplant. Followed by lamb chops, chicken tiki Marsala, Nihari - slow cooked beef. Can't forget the naan - Garlic naan. We were quite pleased and full but someone said we had to have dessert! We went with the crème brûlée and a chocolate mousse with coffee and tea. Those were the most common of all the things we ate. Not too impressive but good too. We all had a delightful evening! The atmosphere was light and airy thought the place was full. Definitely worth another visit!! ”
“ Very solid Indian place! I would come here just for their chicken tikka masala, basmati rice, and onion chili naan mixed together in one heavenly bite. The chicken tikka masala was so creamy and rich and tangy. The basmati rice was a wonderful base and had a great texture. The onion chili naan was spicy and buttery. So chicken tikka masala on basmati rice wrapped in onion chili naan is a bite I often dream of. Their crispy eggplant chaat is good, love the various sauces and bursts of pomegranate seed. It could've had a stronger eggplant flavor however. All of the other dishes were forgettable or misses in flavor. But I'd come back just for that bite. ”
“ Paisley is a downtown Indian restaurant on Greenwich St that serves impressive delicately crafted food. We were a large reserved group and were seated right away. As you enter the restaurant, you see the paisley brand on the wall and to your left is the bar - the decor was done beautifully. Perfect for a date! Service: 10/10 Food: 9.5/10 We got lollipop chicken, samosas, fried cauliflower and fried eggplant for appetizers and for entrees we got chicken tikka masala, 2 lobster with spinach rice, short ribs, shrimp curry, and chicken. Everything was flavorful and enjoyable. My favorite was the cauliflower! The entrees (curries) come with basmati rice. The best part of the restaurant is the drinks and desserts!! Desserts are mostly $15 each. Since we were a large group of over 5, a 20% service fee was added to the bill. We paid about $830 for dinner. Bathrooms are unisex and clean! Thank you Paisley for serving us delicious and flavorful food! ”
